Luigi Einaudi The Liberal Father of Europe

He presently holds the Jean Monnet ad personam Chair of Economics of the European integration at Yildirim Beyazit University, Ankara. He obtained the Jean Monnet Chair in 1997 at Brescia UniversityHe has taught at Keio University (Tokyo) Bocconi University (Milan), Cagliari University, Piura University (Peru), Brescia University (Italy), Lima University, in the Chia-EEC Management Programme (Peking) at the University of the South Cone of America (Asuncion, Paraguay), at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (Argentina) at Marmara University of Istanbul and at Selçuk University of Konya (Turkey) at West Timisoara University Babes Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca and Oradae University (Rumania).He studies economics of international integration, applied both to the European and Latin American case. He is author of books and Mercosur integration.Corcerning the European case he is author of articles on the problem of the external relationships, particulary with Latin American and Asia, on the economic and monetary union, fiscal policies and trade policy. Concernin Turkey he is author of articles and studies on the Turkish economy, its process of accession to the European Union and on the state of European Studies in Turkish Universities.
